Ok, so we got a recording finished, had practice and partied hard on tuesday. I think we racked up about 5 hangovers. The new song we put up is called SCORPIO, it plays first on the page.Yeah, uh...the song's about hanging out with girls who are no good for ya but are too fucking hot to ignore...scorpions. I think we are going to record "Status Report" on Sunday. We were going to do it today but Jack Daniels said "Hell to the no." Let's see, we have 12 songs now, a demo around the corner, an album in two months. Most of which will be given away free because that's just the way shiz iz in thiz biz. I think I'd rather have 100 people with our demo than sell 20 at 5 bucks a piece, you know? Why not just sell one hundred for a dollar? Fuck it, why not just fling them out like frizbees and not care? One hundred dollars isn't much, when drumsets and amps cost thousands. Good karma is priceless. Oi!

So we are movin' along, and have 12 songs and about 9 are finished. We are getting together twice a week, layin it down and hanging out a lot. Now we have to work on  vocal harmonies and second guitar parts. Looks like we will be ready by December, and will prob play our first few shows at such places like The Whiskey in Hoboken, another at the Stone Pony, one at the Saint... Looking forward to throwing down with some great bands like End of An Era, and Intelichy.

So we basically started out in the studio about 3 months ago, first trying to talk about influences, then about why the music industry is weird right now, and we eventually we got around to writing. Schedules were weird, so half of the band would show up on one day and write, record it....and then the rest would get finished by the other half two days later. We finished a bunch of recording sessions, changed our schedule so we can all be in the same room, and we have more or less 6 songs done in 3 practices. I'd say that we will be playing shows by September. Everything sounds great, mainly because we are all on the same page.
